HippSoc Quarterly

Editorial Board Application

HippSoc Quarterly exists to support the formation of medical trainees and clinicians and to foster dialogue with the broader community about the moral and formational dimensions of medicine and medical training.

As an initiative of the Hippocratic Society, HippSoc Quarterly is especially invested in exploring themes such as virtue formation, medicine as a moral community, patient-centered care, human dignity, and medicine as a higher calling.

The Editorial Board will review submissions for HippSoc Quarterly, offering feedback and helping discern which entries should be selected for publication.

The Editorial Board will meet quarterly, and each Board member will be asked to review 1-2 submissions, offering comments and a recommendation.

We seek applicants for the Editorial Board who enjoy thoughtful writing, wish to contribute to the intellectual life of the Hippocratic Society and broader medical community, and are interested in formation in medicine.

If you would like to apply to be on the HippSoc Quarterly Editorial Board, please fill out the following form. Please be prepared to submit a short statement of interest and a CV/Resume.

We look forward to building a team of editors who are committed to promoting excellent, thought-provoking writing, and to renewing the healing profession.
